Lake Montfort School always focuses on the development of children as compassionate human beings. As we all know, health is one of the salient attributes in the developmental pattern of a child. We believe “a child’s mental health is just as important as his/her physical health and deserves the same quality of support.”

It is easy for parents to identify  their child’s physical needs but a child’s mental and emotional needs may not be as obvious. Good mental health allows children to have high self-esteem, develop self-confidence, think clearly, learn new skills and have a healthy emotional outlook on life.

Lake Montfort School is providing psychological counselling services to students for the past several years for their academic and personal well-being. We have professional Mental Health Counsellors, who are empathic, attentive and caring in all sorts of problems that our children face from their academic as well as their personal life. Counselling is all about healing a person who is disturbed mentally due to several personal concerns such as behavioral issues, academic problems, stress and anxiety related issues, emotional struggles due to any personal cause or family issues.Our counsellors have very successful professional remarks in dealing with students from Kindergarten to Grade12. Implementing strategies to make the child face challenges and feel comfortable is the end result of counselling.

We do everything for our children with utmost care and concern as we value them and which made us to have a Counselling Centre under separate department. Three cubicles in the Counselling Centre with all the facilities for a client makes it student friendly and covers all the aspects of confidentiality maintained for the privacy of a student from not revealing the child’s identity to not sharing their concerns with any one as a Counsellor is strictly bound by law.
