Lake Montfort School was a pivotal chapter in my education, providing a solid academic base and opening doors to experiences far beyond the classroom. The teachers sparked curiosity and encouraged independent thinking, while the school’s environment instilled discipline and responsibility. Those years didn’t just build my knowledge—they shaped the way I learn, adapt, and face challenges, qualities that continue to guide me in every step of my journey.
It's God's providence I'd say, to have completed my foundational education at Lake Montfort School.
It was not just books and class room but also the fields and sports courts, and performance stages which contibuted to our education.
Situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city and surrounded by lush of greenery with the sight of azure lake in front, and the distinct whistle of the wind everytime it blowed helped in expanding our minds.
The prayers that were taught before the start of the school and end of the school and before the meal taught us to be grateful to God and surrender everything to Him.
We were taught to respect the teachers by greeting them with folded hands, and thereby we learnt to respect elders.
Discipline was stern but with a gentle touch. The standards were high and we had to meet them, now we know why!
Our then principal ( Bro Varghese) was very approachable. Gave us the freedom and opportunity to experiment with and implement our new ideas.
Our teachers were not just content with we excelling in our academics. They wanted us to excel in our lives and they did their best to help us achieve the same.
A committed doctor and mother, much of what I am now is from what I had been trained when I was small.
The values that I'll be passing on to my fellow colleagues and my children is from what I've been taught in my school.
Blessed to have been a student of Lake Montfort School.
Spending five years at Lake Montfort School shaped not only my academic foundation but also my outlook on life. It was indeed the 5 best years of my life, one that I will always reflect on very fondly.
What stood out to me the most was the school's incredible inclusivity — students from all walks of life came together in an environment that celebrated diversity and mutual respect. It’s one of the rare institutions that gave equal emphasis to academics, sports, and the overall holistic development of every child.
I used to genuinely enjoy going to school — the atmosphere, the encouragement from teachers, and the balance of discipline and freedom helped me grow into who I am today. I carry the values I learned at Montfort into my work as an investment banker at Wells Fargo. Even now, I look back at my time there with immense pride. Once a Montfortian, always a Montfortian.
